All the plastic around the original air filter had started to shatter, not sure why but was looking for a cheap fix thought id give this a try. Safe to say all parts fit well and it was easy to install.

Having used Ramair filters a couple of times already, I know these are great bits of kit. HOWEVER the filter that arrived (for a Ford Fiesta Mk8 Ecoboost) was not the usual standard…3 stars because the company refunded very quickly with no issues at all. All good there.However the filter itself had been poorly manufactured, I still wonder where it was a replica/fake perhaps?For starters, the two bolts at the bottom of the heat shield were not the same as advertised. The pre-driller holes were about 1mm too small in diameter – so the bolts would absolutely NOT fit into the heat shield. This required a lot of unnecessary force to get done. After spending 20 minutes on one bolt I gave up on the other.The filter itself seemed poorly sealed up, bits of foam were flapping out, not drastically, but certainly noticeable if you know what to look for.Pipes were good, clips were good.Didn’t get a chance to test the heat shield, however it certainly seemed lighter than usual.Disappointing product, but all saved by the easy return process and a nice company apology.
